I am a Medical Aesthetician, Phlebotomist and boss lady of Poppy Medi-Boutique. This med-spa has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember.
I believe that people are inherently beautiful, and that beauty can be seen when their eyes smile along with their mouth. I also believe that aging is a gift from God. It allows us to gradually shift our focus from the physical part of ourselves to the spiritual part of ourselves. That said, sometimes we can become so uncomfortable with a change in our appearance that it distracts us from focusing on other matters of importance. And this, I can help you with.
Through the latest advances in medical aesthetics and my proprietary method of application, I can help you fix a skin issue, age gracefully, and feel confident and free in your own skin.
Here are some things I believe in:
- If you are obsessing about something physical to the point that it makes you "miserable", chances are it is probably not about that thing at all. (This is called externalizing)
- Being honest even if it costs me.
- I am always learning and I am finally OK with that even though it's painful!
- Therapy
- Dogs are Band-aids for the soul.
- If you wouldn't say it to your daughter, don't say it to yourself.
Dr. Adel Haque, Medical Director
Adel Haque, BS, MD, FAAD, was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, and attended Georgia Tech on a full scholarship, where he majored in Biochemistry and Chemistry and minored in Chemical Engineering, graduating with highest honors, the President’s Award, and a community service recognition. He went on to attend the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, where he served on the Honor Council, worked as an anesthesia technician, and ranked in the top 5% of his class in both academics and board examination scores. He completed his internship at Gwinnett Medical Center in Atlanta and his dermatology residency at the University of South Florida in Tampa, where he was recognized as Resident Teacher of the Year, Surgery Resident of the Year, and Cosmetics Resident of the Year, in addition to receiving awards for outstanding community service and institutional leadership.
Dr. Haque brings a patient-centered, holistic approach to dermatologic care, treating each individual with the same attention and care as family. He has extensive experience managing complex medical dermatology conditions, including CTCL, blistering diseases, psoriasis, acne, and eczema, and has performed over a thousand Mohs surgical cases during his training. He is also highly skilled in cosmetic dermatology, with experience ranging from benign lesion treatment to Botox and fillers. Dr. Haque currently serves as Adjunct Faculty at the University of Pennsylvania Department of Dermatology and volunteers monthly at the Veterans Affairs in Philadelphia, where he supervises residents in both medical and surgical dermatology. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys basketball, traveling, spending time with family, and giving back to the community.

Hi, I’m Dalia! I’ve been a licensed esthetician since 2019, with experience in both clinical and spa settings. Working in a variety of environments has given me a well-rounded approach to treatments and client care. I’m excited to be part of the Poppy Medi-Boutique team, where I can bring together my love for relaxing, beauty-focused services alongside more results-driven, medical treatments. I look forward to having you in my room!
Juliet Callanan
Juliet is a newly licensed esthetician and proud Nassau BOCES graduate, where she built a strong foundation in skincare science before successfully passing her state boards. With a natural warmth and bubbly personality, Juliet is passionate about helping clients feel confident in their skin. She loves diving into ingredients, product knowledge, and personalized skincare—always eager to learn and grow in her craft. You’ll currently find Juliet at the front desk, welcoming you with a smile and helping guide your experience—but keep an eye out… she’ll soon be bringing her passion and gentle touch into the treatment room. We’re so excited for you to meet her.
